New Casino In Westmoreland County Pa

Live! Casino is a $150 Million first-class gaming, dining and entertainment destination being developed by Stadium Casino Westmoreland RE, LLC, an affiliate of The Cordish Companies.

Casino set to open in 2020 in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania The 100,000-square-foot gaming, dining and entertainment destination will be part of the popular Westmoreland Mall development. The group has selected Derry Township in Westmoreland County for the location of the new casino. Stadium LLC does not currently have a casino in PA, but it is the same group that has plans to build a $600 million dollar Live! Hotel and Casino in Philadelphia, slated to become the 13th casino in Pennsylvania in 2020. It has until Friday to pay. Casino Pittsburgh will be open, pending approval from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, on November 24 starting at 6:00 a.m. Prior to the opening, the casino will host a few private charity events on November 14-15 to benefit the Westmoreland County Food Bank. There is also a planned ribbon-cutting ceremony on November 17. Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is transforming the Philadelphia Stadium Entertainment District. Westmoreland County and Hempfield officials said earlier this week they have had no discussions with Stadium Casino in regard to the company’s plans for the casino. Stadium Casino is a partnership between Cordish Companies and Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, which runs Parx Casino in Bucks County.
